To Our Patients

We have greatly expanded the use of Telemedicine in order to allow our patients to access medical care from their home.

To schedule a Telemedicine visit, call the office between 8 am and 1 pm. You will be given an appointment for a specific time for your visit, and instructions on which platform your physician is using (Zoom, Skype or FaceTime). If you cannot do a video conference, then a phone visit can be scheduled.

For the visit, you can use a computer with a camera, an I-Pad, or a cell phone. If you have a choice, use the computer or the I-Pad. Have your medications available. It’s best to have the actual medications, in their original bottles with their original labels. If this is not possible, a list will do. Also have available any records your physician asked you to keep, such as records of your weight, blood pressure or blood sugar.

On a case-by-case basis, after discussion with your physician, you may be asked to come to the office in person, either for a brief exam or for a lab that cannot be delayed.

Of course, a personal visit and an exam is ideal. However, delaying the exam for a few weeks is sometimes best for your overall health, and for the health of your family.

We remain, as always, available by phone 24/7 for urgent concerns. We remain committed to the continuity of your care and to your health, and we will continue to serve your medical needs during this tough time.
